| This autoantibody (AT1-AA) is demonstrable by using patient's serum
purified IgG and reacting it with cultured rat neonatal cardiac myocytes...elevations
causing contraction rates to increase by 20-40 beats per minute.
Patients with elevated levels have increased release of PAI-1. A
