| So that we can do the best job possible for your diagnosis, we
make every reasonable effort to obtain medical information from the
doctor who referred you for the liver biopsy at Lexington Medical
Center, Dept. of Radiology. We save the extra serum component of
the blood that was drawn on you so that certain blood tests that
might be needed (because of what we see with our microscope in your
liver biopsy) can be done without an extra trip by you to a lab.
Thereby, we would hope to have all needed information for you doctor
when they sit down with you to discuss the findings. At no charge,
we do some chemistry liver tests and obtain a blood smear for review.
We have the Radiologist get two biopsies so that we can look at the
tiny biopsy pieces of your liver in two different ways. Using this
Mayo Clinic style, we get the exact and accurate diagnosis on one
biopsy encounter by you >98% of the time. |
