        Interpretation of endoscopic colonic biopsies

Whether medical biopsies biopsies of a lesion or polyp, there are many possibilities for interpretation. Because the biopsy sample is often a small sample of a much more extensive process or much larger lesion, it is most valuable if the pathologist has a very low threshold for clues to (1) danger and/or (2) a treatable process. This chart is a reminder sheet.
