| In addition to (1) taking great pains to properly
determine the extent of invasion, (2) find all
resected colorectal area lymph nodes, and (3) properly address
any issue of peritoneal risk of having been invaded, lymphovascular invasion, or perineural space invasionm,, we want
to (4) discern any features which are present that might indicate
that the case is at increased risk of being a case of hereditary
nonpolyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC). |
